Meet Michael Mintz, CEO of Waste Cost Solutions. Michael was born and raised in Millburn, New Jersey and is a graduate of New York University. After years in the Financial World, Michael moved to South Florida and started Waste Cost Solutions in March, 2003. “I remember the early days of Waste Cost Solutions fondly, I was working out of an apartment in Delray Beach, FL and my mother assisted me with the bookkeeping,” noted Mintz.
Today Waste Cost Solutions has a roster of more than 25 employees and over 3,000 clients nationwide. Outback Steakhouse, Bonefish Grill, Carrabba’s Italian Grill, Fleming’s Steakhouse, Arby’s, Burger King, Mission BBQ, Church’s Chicken, Denny’s, Grub Burger Bar are among the numerous companies Waste Cost Solutions assists with their daily waste management.
It’s gratifying to see how we’ve grown since our inception. One thing that remains constant today and close to 20-years later at Waste Cost Solutions is the exemplary customer support we provide to our clients. We pride ourselves on the fact that calls are answered immediately and rarely if ever go to voicemail and emails are answered promptly. We understand the urgency of our clients’ requests and work to immediately resolve their issues, commented Mintz.
Three years ago Waste Cost Solutions started a Facilities Management Division for our clients. Whether your company requires a compactor cleanout, window cleaning and repairs, carpentry and masonry, painting, roofing, graffiti removal, pressure washing and more, our Facility Services Team can assist you. All it takes is a phone call, email or text message and we’ll handle the rest, added Mintz.
Dumpsters R Us and 24/7 Emergency Dumpsters are also divisions of Waste Cost Solutions. The company is also launching a new site this month, Emergency Dumpsters for Less. From emergency, temporary and yard waste roll-off dumpster rentals for residential use, to concrete dumpsters, construction dumpsters, compactor cleanouts, portable toilet, storage unit and office rentals for commercial use, Emergency Dumpsters For Less can assist you with your request in as little as one day or less, Mintz commented.
This Christmas season, Michael will be spending the holidays with his girlfriend Trish and other family members. I hope to spend some time golfing and playing tennis. Both sports are extremely relaxing and provide a great way to unwind, commented Mintz. We’ll also be spending New Year’s in South Carolina with Trish’s sister, added Mintz.

Favorite Holiday Memory...
“My fondest holiday memory is spending the holidays at my
Boca Raton home with my three children: Zachary, Lindsay and Casey gathered by our ‘Hanukkah Bush’ and watching them open presents,” commented Mintz.
Favorite Holiday Food...
I’m a fish and beef kind of guy. I love both seafood and meat. I also like to cook. Salmon is perhaps one of my favorite fishes. When it comes to beverages, I prefer Tequila.
New Year’s Resolution...
There are many great things happening for Waste Cost Solutions, our Emergency Dumpsters and Facilities Services teams, notably our move to a new office in the New Year. Headquartered in Boca Raton, FL, the company is planning on expanding to a new, larger location in Deerfield Beach, FL. We’re closing on the new building this week and my New Year’s resolution is to get our new location up and running for everyone to work out of, Mintz concluded.
